It was a totally rad night on September 7 as Agassiz Village held its annual Maine Course event at Gore place in Waltham, MA. Our ‘80s-themed celebration was a rockin’ time for participants who arrived in their best 1980s costumes—Richard Simmons, Ferris Bueller, Axl Rose, and even one of Robert Palmer’s guitar-playing dancers were all there! Guests danced the night away to tunes from Bon Jovi, Van Halen, The Go-Go’s, The Cars, Journey, and more, played by the totally awesome band Fast Times.

The event featured online and live auctions that offered fabulous trips to such places as Lake Tahoe, the Adirondacks, Lake George, and Stuart Cay, Florida. Special regional packages for Salem, Boston, Portland, ME, and Burlington, VT, were popular, as were fine dining certificates, Celtics and Bruins tickets, and unique items such as a whiskey tasting event and ice fishing trip.

It was an incredibly fun evening. If you were unable to attend, watch our website and Facebook page for news on our 2025 event as we have something really special planned for our 90th anniversary!
